Five habits for a clean, even burn
- First burnLet the wax melt right to the edge of the jar, about 2–3 hours, so it never tunnels.
- Trim the wickKeep it to about 5mm before every burn for a steady, smoke-free flame.
- Burn timeBurn for no more than 4 hours at a time, then let the candle cool completely.
- PlacementKeep away from draughts, curtains, children and pets, on a heat-safe surface.
- FinishStop when 1cm of wax remains, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
